Most WinMAGI users
make and sell standard products. They may plan to replenish
stock on the basis of customer orders and/or forecasts or may
use simple “re-order point” logic. In some cases they commence
production only when a firm order is received, and in other
cases, they plan to replenish their intermediate subassemblies
according to forecast, and assemble the final product when an
order is received. Full MRP and MPS modules make this process
simple.
The WinMAGI distribution facilities allow despatch
staff to ensure that – wherever possible – all deliveries to a
customer are in full, and on-time. However, the allocation of
stock items to customer orders can be performed automatically
on a priority basis as determined by the dispatch staff.
WinMAGI is a complete system, from full multi-warehousing, lot and serial number tracking, comprehensive
sales-order processing and dispatch procedures, purchasing,
manufacturing and full financials.
